Soga rattan grows in clumps (30-50 stems) and grows near swamps. The size of the peeled stem can be as big as an adult's thumb. Rattan is very often used for woven materials. This rattan has 2 variants that grow in Sekida village; yellow and black spines. there is a similar rattan that grows on the hill, called soga emas (sogoh). Sogoh is a rare rattan with the best quality.
